4th Grade

Fall 2002, I have to move to ANOTHER school. I'm still in a special ed class, so that is good. Now I got to Highland. I will only be there for 4th grade, then I have to move to another school! I wish they would stop doing that!

We went to Seattle again in September. My Mommy was worried because my labs had not been normal. I got to go up in the Space Needle! It was even my idea. I didn't like the elevator ride to the top though...it went too fast. When we saw the doctor Mommy asked them to do a kidney biopsy on me. That didn't sound too good to me, but it's a good thing Mommy insisted.

We were only home from Seattle for 2 days when the doctors from there called! They said that they couldn't believe it, but I was having some rejection! I had to go back out to Seattle and go in the hospital again! I am sick of Seattle. Mommy didn't take any pictures while we were there, but after I got out of the hospital and we were waiting around to make sure I was ok, we got to do some fun things. We went to the Pacific Science Center, the Seattle Aquarium and the Woodland Park Zoo! Mommy said I had been to all those places when I was really little, but I only remembered the Pacific Science Center. We stayed at the Ronald McDonald House this time. It was fun to play with the other kids and they had Nintendo!! Finally after a week we got to come home!

Just before Christmas my labs got really messed up again and I had to go into the hospital here in Billings. I felt fine, but my blood work said I was sick! I only had to stay a few days and then we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house for Christmas. Uncle Steven was there too!

My labs just wouldn't cooperate and I had to go back to Seattle in January for another kidney biopsy and more treatment for rejection. This time we got a weekend off and my Uncle Steven flew us down to San Francisco to visit him! I even got to go watch my very first protest rally! We got there by sqeezing into a subway. I was pretty bored, but we did manage to walk to FAO Swartz toy store. When we flew back to Seattle, we got to have a free day and we went on the monorail and to the Children's Museum.

I found out I was going to be a big brother after we got home, but in April my baby sister went to Heaven to be with my Great-Grandma Burton. I saw a picture of her, she was very tiny. She has her own website.

The rest of 4th grade was ok. The rejection stopped, so that was good!
